As the coronavirus pandemic continued to evolve, we were doing all we could to keep our doors open to the public and continue serving our community. Unfortunately the pandemic has progressed and now further actions are being taken in the great state of Nevada. Our Governor is asking us to help mitigate the spread of this disease through our community by closing our doors to the public. As most of our customers know, we have a strong relationship with the elderly and vintage audience considering the type of business we are in. Also most transactions are all done in person and require some type of hand to hand contact.
These two major factors have caused us to change our auction plans over the next couple weeks. The Auto Auction scheduled for March 23rd has been delayed at this time. We will look to conduct this sale once we have further confirmation on procedures and steps to be followed. Our next scheduled Estate Auction was to be held March 29th, this will also be delayed until further notice. Also any purchases made that have not been picked up from our location will have to stay on site until we can open our doors to customers again. We hope this to be in a couple weeks but are staying tuned-in to see how the next week unfolds.
To all of our consignors and estate planners please feel free to give Kyle or Hector a call at one of the numbers listed at the bottom of this email. Please understand we are all trying to get through this together and nobody is quite sure on the exact way to proceed. Also, all consignment checks are still scheduled to be paid on time and be mailed out. The checks will not be available for pick-up at this time. If you do not have an address listed with us, please call one of the numbers at the bottom of the page. This plan is being put into place to help provide some clarity and reassurance. When these restrictions are lifted be ready for Lightning Auctions to be full steam ahead. For the past 30 years we have encountered many dilemmas and have always found a way to persevere, we will not let this pandemic be any different.
